THE WISHBONE FOR GOOD LUCK
Solid white oak. This table was designed in response to the client’s love for Hans Wegners’ Wishbone chair and desire for a one-of-a-kind heirloom piece. The shape of the wishbone led to thinking about the anatomy of the human body: the base is sculpted to nod to the bones of human legs. Slender through the shaft then fuller at the joints, the table legs echo the structure and shape of the femur, tibia, and fibula.
